Legal
Privacy policy
RideWise respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you fill in our free audit form or email us, we may collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your club or business name, type and number of vehicles
- the services you are interested in and anything else you choose to tell us
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out your free audit, and provide services you ask us for. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when it is needed to help you — for example with a qualified lawyer or accountant you have agreed we can involve — or when the law requires it. Our website and email are run by trusted service providers who store data on our behalf.
How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it.
Website data
Our website uses fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when you visit. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, for security and performance.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@ridewise.com.au.
Questions or complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your information, email info@ridewise.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
